Sandalwood Oil Botanical Name Santalum album, Origin Historically, India is known to be native to Sandalwood trees, Form The Sandalwood oil has a medium-thick consistency. Scent Sandalwood oil is pleasantly rich, sweet, fragrant, woody, floral yet delicate to sniff at. Shade and Appearance: Clear with a Yellowish tinge.
Chemical constituents the main chemical components of the Sandalwood oil are Santalol, Santyl- Acetate and Santalene, out of which Santalol accounts for nearly 90 of the total constituent content.
Blends well with; The Sandalwood oil blends particularly well with Bergamot, Black pepper, Geranium, Lavender, Myrrh, Rose, Vetivert and Ylang-Ylang oils.

When distillations are finished then we make Sandalwood oil 100 free from water with boiling. Now Pure Sandalwood oil is ready to use for any cosmetics or other industries. It is an annual perennial herb growing to 1.5m by 0.7m. It has a horizontal root- stock, and tuberous rootfibres, leaves are 30 cms or more in length. Inflorescence is spiked. Flowers ascending and dense yellow coloured. It bears flowers in October. The flowers are hermaphrodite (has both male and female organs). Capsule is globose.The plant is known to contain essential oil, starch, resins, organic acids, glycosides, albumen, saccharides and chemicals like sitosteroland, furanoid, diterpene-hedychenone and 7- hydroxyhedychenone. These chemicals are stimulates the carminative, emmenagogue, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, aromatic, astringent, stimulant, stomachic and tonic properties in the plant which are very useful in treatment of several ailments and makes it medicinally very important.
Description of Hedychium oil:
It is an annual herb with horizontal root-stock and tubesous root fibres, leaves are 30 cms or at times more than that in length. Flowers ascending and densed and of yellow in color. Inflorescene is spiked. Capsule is globose. The rhizomes are aromatic with bitter camphorous taste.
Aromatherapy uses: Some of the properties include bactericide, fungicide, stomachic, tonic and expectorant. It is also used as febrifuge, excitant and anti-rheumatic in the Ayurvedic system. It has been prescribed and used in treatment of headache, lancinating pain, contusion, inflammatory and intense pain due to rheumatism etc. It is used in nausea, liver disorder, bronchial asthma, halitosis and vomiting. Also useful in diminished appetite, hiccups, local inflammation etc

Oil of Wintergreen is extracted from the leaves of a small evergreen herb that grows up to 15 cm. In late spring the plant forms small white flowers. In summer red cherry shaped berries grow and last until the following spring. The crushed leaves have a lovely medicinal smell. Traditionally Wintergreen was chewed by the natives of the Americas in order to increase lung capacity and assist in healing respiratory conditions.
