Mandarin Oil comes from mandarin trees that are members of orange family. The oil is steam distilled from the fruit part of the tree and blends well with other citrus and floral oils. Having good medicinal properties, it us useful for treating insomnia, acne, dull skin, spots, oily skin, scars, stress, wrinkles.

Juniper Berry Oil an evergreen shrub or tree up to 6m high with bluish-green stiff needles. It has small flowers and berries which are green in the first year, black in second and third. Essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the berries. Although these valuable berries are produced from a native shrub, the berries of commerce are chiefly collected from plants cultivated in Hungary. But the rise in the price of foreign oil of Juniper berries since the outbreak of war has directed attention to the possible extended production of the oil either in Great Britain or Europe or Canada. Sunny slopes are likely to be the best places to cultivate the shrub for the berries. The yield of oil, however, varies considerably in different years.

Kewda Absolute Oil is extracted from the flower called Kewra, that is well-acknowledged for its sweet flowery fragrance. Having botanical name Pandanus Odoratissimus, it has a sweet fragrance with pleasant quality that is similar to rose flowers. The watery distillate is widely used in perfumes & in a variety of food flavor preparations. The flowers are also used to flavour food; kewda essence is used in numerous Indian sweets like rasgulla, petha, rasmalai and burfi, especially in Rajasthan. The flower, however, is reputed to attract snakes.

Neroli essential oil is a very precious oil produced from blossoms of the Bitter Orange tree. These blossoms are small, white and very fragrant. Our Neroli Oil is steam distilled, not solvent extracted. The high cost is a result of requiring 1 ton of orange blossoms to produce 1 quart of oil. Neroli is named after Anna Maria de La Tremoille, Princess of Nerola (were not making this up!) who first introduced the fragrance to Italy.The essential oil is both a and overall tonic to the nervous system, and can be beneficial for most stress-related disorders of an emotional origin. The oil has been said to treat heart palpitations, relieve insomnia and reduce nervousness. Nerolis calming effect can be tried by deeply inhaling the aroma, rubbing a few drops on the solar plexus, diluting in Jojoba oil and wearing as a natural perfume, or diffusing in small amounts. Neroli is considered one of the most important aromatics for aromatherapy treatment for anxiety, and depression resulting from stress and anxiety.

For over 100 years, Tube Rose Absolute Oil was one of the most expensive natural flower materials available to the perfumer, and was quite literally, worth its weight in gold. This was due to the excruciatingly slow and laborious method of obtaining tuberose oil known as ‘cold enfleurage’. This method is far too time consuming for our modern world, so thanks to improvements in extraction techniques and cultivation, the price of tuberose absolute is now much more affordable than the oil originally obtained by enfleurage. Despite the reference to ‘rose’ within its name, tuberose has no relationship with the rose whatsoever, and is in fact, related to Narcissus and Jonquil. And in case you were curious, a tuber is an underground root or stem which serves as a food storage organ and can be flat, rounded or irregular in shape. This plant has a tuber, therefore this is where part of its name is derived from.
